City of Seoul Transforms Freeway Into a River: TreeHugger

“Long ago in Seoul, South Korea, city planners paved over a natural stream to put in a road. It stayed that way for decades, becoming a freeway and adding to the traffic congestion in the burgeoning metropolis. But in 2003, city planners tore down the old highway and brought the stream back to life.”

With some great plantlife, to boot!

This is super cool. The picture and the story behind it.
