   This is depressing. There needs to be caveats, fine print, an asterisk. Here is mine: The statement above ascribes “meaning” to be human life on earth and then juxtaposes such meaning to the expanse of a universe populated by black holes, supernovas, dark matter, and other much bigger and violent phenomena. In other words, the statement ignores everything that matters…to us.
